アプリ用に英語のプライバシーポリシーページ作ってみた

こないだGoogle秋のBAN祭りが行われていたらしいですね。

Androidの規約変更かなにか知りませんけど、プライバシーポリシーを設定してないアプリが、Google Playからどんどん消されていたんだとか。

僕みたいな適当野郎こそ真っ先に餌食になると思ってたんですが、これを書いてる今日までは、不思議ときてないんですよ。

「そいやプライバシーポリシーって設定してたかな？」と思って、自分のアプリを確認してみたんですが、露骨にTwitterのURLが貼ってありました。

BANされた人たちは空欄にされてたんですかね。僕の２０以上あるAndroidアプリが全て無事ということは、恐らくこのURLが有効だったんでしょうｗ

ただ、この先はこれじゃダメじゃないですか。適当なURL貼り付けてるだけで見逃してくれるとも思えないので、ちゃんとしたプライバシーポリシーのページを作って、そのURLを貼ろうと思ったんです。

ちなみに１３歳未満を対象としたアプリはCOPPAって法律が適応されるので、プライバシーポリシーは厳格になりますね。Androidは。

以前子供向けのアプリを出したとき、同じようにTwitterのURLを貼っていたんですけど、「これプライバシーポリシー関係ねぇじゃねーか。Google舐めんなよ」って言われてしまったんですよ。なのでこれは特に気を付けたほうがいいでしょう。

えー、そんなわけでプライバシーポリシーのページを作りましたよ。

アプリは海外にも配信されるので、全部英語にしました。

ユーザーに向けてっていうか、正直Googleに向けて書いてる感じなので、英語でいいと思ったんです。

これをストアに設定して、アプリからもリンクを貼ればOKでしょう。

アプリ本体にもプライバシーポリシーに飛ぶリンクを付けなければダメだと聞きましたからね。とりあえずそうしてみます。
